StoneBridge was founded on a specific premise: Charlotte homeowners deserve a roofing contractor who is locally accountable for the long-term performance of every installation.

Marcus Webb grew up in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He started in roofing at 19 years old as a laborer on a residential crew in Concord — learning the trade from the roof deck up before eventually managing projects, then running his own installation crew, and founding StoneBridge in 2008 at 32.

The decision to stay focused on residential roofing in the Charlotte area — rather than expanding into commercial work or other markets — was deliberate. Marcus believes depth of expertise in one market produces better outcomes than breadth across many. Every StoneBridge project supervisor has installed roofs in Charlotte's specific climate, soil conditions, and building stock for at least five years.

The GAF Master Elite® certification — earned in 2013 and maintained since — requires documented installation volume, insurance verification, customer satisfaction records, and ongoing training. Fewer than 3% of North American roofing contractors qualify. It enables StoneBridge to offer the GAF Golden Pledge® lifetime warranty, the strongest manufacturer warranty available for residential roofing.

StoneBridge employees install every StoneBridge roof. The crew you meet on inspection day is the crew that shows up on installation day.

Every estimate specifies materials by manufacturer and product line, labor scope by task, and disposal. No "call for pricing," no estimate-day pressure.

We recommend repair when repair is appropriate
We have turned down full replacement contracts to recommend $800 repairs. Repeat clients and referrals are the foundation of our business — not single transaction maximization.

Inspection reports are yours regardless of outcome
The written inspection report is provided to every client whether or not they proceed with StoneBridge. You paid for your home's information — it belongs to you.

We don't chase storms into other markets
After major regional storm events, StoneBridge's phone volume increases substantially. We do not expand our geographic service area or bring in outside crews to capture storm-season volume — because that model produces installation quality and warranty accountability problems we're not willing to accept.

Our emergency line at (704) 555-0944 is staffed 24 hours. If you have an active leak or storm damage requiring immediate containment, we respond — not our answering service.
